New Public Competition of the Prefecture of Jaraguá Announces Opening of Registrations for Hundreds of Vacancies. Find Out How to Participate and What Positions Are Available!

A new public competition from the Prefecture of Jaraguá, in Goiás, has recently published its announcement. The selection process offers 443 vacancies, where 168 are immediate and 275 are for the reserve list. Positions are available for middle and higher education levels, with salaries ranging from R$ 1,412.00 to R$ 3,295.95.

The opportunities in the public competition are for positions in the Secretary of Education, Sports, and Culture (Sedec). There are opportunities in the following positions:

CMEI Assistant;
Social Worker;
Heritage Educator;
Speech Therapist;
Nutritionist;
School Support Professional;
Teaching Professional (Arts);
Teaching Professional (Sciences);
Teaching Professional (Physical Education);
Teaching Professional (Geography);
Teaching Professional (History);
Teaching Professional (English);
Teaching Professional (Mathematics);
Teaching Professional;
(Pedagogue);
Teaching Professional (Portuguese);
Psychologist.

It is important to highlight that candidates for the positions of: Educational Support Professional and Teaching Professional, in all areas, must, at the time of registration, choose the pedagogical sector where they wish to work, according to the list below:

Registrations in the Public Competition of the Prefecture of Jaraguá

Those interested in participating in the public competition must be Brazilian citizens, born or naturalized, at least 18 years old and under 75, in full enjoyment and exercise of civil and political rights, up to date with electoral obligations, and in compliance with military service duties for male candidates, among others.

Registrations must be conducted exclusively online, on the monitoring page of the selection process, from May 22, 2024, to July 11, 2024. Candidates will need to pay R$ 70 for the registration fee for middle school and R$ 90 for higher education.

There will be no total or partial exemption from the registration fee for the public competition of the Prefecture of Jaraguá, except for candidates in financial difficulty who cannot afford the payment.

The candidate must be registered in CadÚnico – Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government, be a member of a low-income family, and provide their NIS.

Steps of the Public Competition of the Prefecture of Jaraguá

The objective tests will be administered to all candidates with approved registrations in the public competition. The questions will consist of 4 answer choices, with only one correct.

The tests will cover subjects of Portuguese Language, Logical and Mathematical Reasoning, Pedagogical Knowledge, General Knowledge, and Specific Knowledge (depending on the position). The test will consist of 40 questions and is scheduled to take place on September 8. The consultation to the locations of application will be available from the 2nd of the same month.

The period for submitting documents related to the title analysis, a phase applicable only for competitors for higher-level positions, will be from November 12 to 15.

Certificates and diplomas for specialization, master’s, and doctoral degrees will be considered. It is worth mentioning that the public competition of the Prefecture of Jaraguá will be valid for two years, starting from the date of the homologation of the final result.
