OnePlus confirms the launch of a new phone with an 8,000 mAh battery, fast charging, and arrival scheduled for June 30.
The smartphone market will gain another competitor aimed at the entry-level segment at the end of June. OnePlus has confirmed the official presentation of the new N6 for June 30, 2026, a device that will be initially launched in India and focuses on an increasingly valued attribute by consumers: battery life.
The Chinese manufacturer highlighted that the model will feature an 8,000 mAh battery, a significantly high capacity for the category. The proposal is to allow extended periods of use without the need for frequent recharges, catering to users who spend many hours away from power outlets.

In addition to energy capacity, another point emphasized by the company involves the preservation of the component over the years.

The battery was designed to maintain its health for up to seven years. This feature may attract consumers who tend to keep the same device for a long time before making a switch.

To reduce the time connected to the charger, the smartphone will also be compatible with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
What is already known about the new device?
Although the official presentation has not yet occurred, some specifications have emerged through benchmark platform records and information released by the manufacturer itself.
Among the details known so far are:
- 8,000 mAh battery;
- 45W fast charging;
- MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor;
- 6 GB of RAM;
- Android 16 operating system;
- Main rear camera of 50 MP;
- Front camera of 8 MP.

The expectation is that new details will be gradually revealed until the launch date.
OnePlus should offer performance aimed at everyday use
Results released in performance tests help indicate the device’s profile. The device scored approximately 780 points in single-core evaluations and about 2,000 points in tests using multiple processor cores.
The numbers suggest adequate performance for common day-to-day activities, including browsing social networks, messaging apps, video playback, and considered light multitasking.
Visual follows the identity adopted by the brand
Promotional images already presented by the manufacturer revealed part of the smartphone’s design. The device will initially arrive in two color options: black and green.
The visual maintains characteristics observed in other affordable models of the company, although it presents some adjustments in the rear finish.

The strategy demonstrates the brand’s intention to maintain a consistent visual identity in its entry-level line.
OnePlus launch will occur first in India
The official announcement of the new smartphone is scheduled for June 30, 2026. Initially, the device will be marketed in the Indian market. Distribution will occur through Amazon, as confirmed by the manufacturer.
Regarding the price, the expectation is that the model will be sold for values between 18,000 and 25,000 rupees in the Indian market, about R$ 985.00 to 1,400.00 at the current exchange rate.
While many launches focus efforts on cameras or advanced performance, OnePlus seems to direct the N6 towards an audience that primarily values battery life.
The combination of 8,000 mAh capacity, support for 45W fast charging, and a promise of component health preservation for several years positions the device as an alternative aimed at users seeking convenience and less dependence on constant recharges.
With the presentation scheduled for the end of June, the manufacturer should soon disclose all the remaining details about the new addition to its portfolio.
