Meet The New Renault Kardian, The SUV That Promises To Revolutionize The Automotive Market
Renault is set to launch its latest SUV, the Kardian, in March 2024. With the arrival of this new model, the French automaker aims not only to compete in the compact compact sports utility vehicle segment, but also to regain its position in the Brazilian market, which has been affected by the increasing demand for SUVs in recent years, according to AutoEsporte.
Challenges In The SUV Market In Brazil
While Renault enjoyed success with its Logan and Sandero models, the shift in consumer preferences in Brazil towards SUVs has posed new challenges for the brand. Although it has offered the Duster and Captur models, the company has not been able to fully meet market demand in Brazil.
Now, with the launch of the Kardian, Renault seeks to regain ground and compete with models such as the Fiat Pulse and the Volkswagen Nivus, as well as target slightly larger SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and the Jeep Renegade.
