According to Ocyan, applications will be made through the Nossa Gente website. The interview to determine who was selected will be conducted blind. That is, all candidates will be called before having their profile selected by the institution. In this way, everyone will have the opportunity to show their talent and willingness to work with the oil and gas brand.
On the last Thursday, June 23, the company Ocyan announced that its internship vacancies would close on June 28. In total, there are around 13 opportunities for those who wish to work in the cities of Macaé and Rio de Janeiro, both in the state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ). There are various fields of activity, including Administration, Economics, Accounting, Production Engineering, Social Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Engineering.
It is worth noting that the selection test will be conducted in several stages, with an English test applied for those who are selected after the interview with the leadership and Human Resources (HR). Finally, there will also be a screening through group activities that will analyze the potential intern’s ability to work with others in a large organization.

What Are the Intern’s Rights?
The intern has some rights provided by the Internship Law. Below, we list what they are.
Remuneration
The law provides that the intern is entitled to receive remuneration to cover their course, even if it is not in the city where the intern works. Despite having the right to remuneration, the intern is not entitled to thirteenth salary, which is a benefit granted to those under CLT. Workers in the legal entity sector also do not have the right to thirteenth salary, nor do they receive profit-sharing from the institution.
Life Insurance
Although the intern does not have the right to thirteenth salary, they do not lose access to life insurance while acting in the determined profession. This is because some companies, such as those in the oil and gas sector, may put some employees’ lives at risk, especially with work at heights.
If the work occurs in person, the employee will have the right to a transportation allowance, which will cover their costs to go to the workplace without the amount being deducted from the stipend to pay for the course.
30 Days of Vacation Per Year Associated with the School Year
Another right belonging to interns is the 30 days of vacation per year for every 12 months worked, associated with or around school vacation and higher education periods. Companies with contracts of one year or more must provide this right to the employee.
