Want To Buy A New Car Without Spending Too Much? Check Out The Updated List Of The Cheapest New Cars In Brazil And Choose From The Best Economic Options On The Market!

Are You Looking For A New Car? Entry-level cars in Brazil, once highly sought after, have become increasingly scarce in the market. At the same time, many consumers have prioritized vehicles that are more complete and equipped, beyond the traditional package of “air+power steering+power windows“. But what are the most accessible available cars?

Check out the list of the five cheapest new cars in Brazil in October 2024, considering the most economical versions offered by manufacturers, without distinction of engine type, body style, or transmission type. Important: versions and prices aimed at the PCD audience and promotional offers were not considered.

5th Place – Renault Stepway – R$ 86.990

The Renault Stepway opens our list. Originally, it was an adventurous version of the Sandero, but now, after the discontinuation of versions with the 1.6 flex engine of 118 hp, it is offered only in the Zen version. With a 1.0 flex engine of 82 hp and a 5-speed manual transmission, its starting price is R$ 86.990.

Renault’s decision to discontinue the versions with the 1.6 engine is related to the arrival of the Renault Kardian, which has a 1.0 turbo flex engine of 125 hp and starts at R$ 106.990.

4th Place – Fiat Argo – R$ 86.990

Tied with the Stepway, the Fiat Argo appears as one of the cheapest options. Equipped with a 1.0 Firefly engine of 77 hp and 107 Nm and a 5-speed manual transmission, its starting price is R$ 86.990. In the top-of-the-line Trekking CVT version, the Argo reaches R$ 102.990, with a 1.3 Firefly engine of 107 hp and a CVT automatic transmission. In addition, Fiat’s website offers additional options and accessories.

3rd Place – Citroën C3 – R$ 77.590

In third place, we have the Citroën C3, which comes with a starting price of R$ 77.590 in the Live version. This model is equipped with a 1.0 Firefly engine of 77 hp and 107 Nm, along with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 2025 line of the C3 introduced the folding key as a standard item. The price of the top-of-the-line version, the You, can reach R$ 100.990, featuring a 1.0 turbo flex engine of 130 hp and 200 Nm, with a CVT automatic transmission.

2nd Place – Fiat Mobi – R$ 74.990

The Fiat Mobi occupies second place. Produced in Betim (MG), the hatchback recently lost its leadership in the ranking of the cheapest cars due to a R$ 1.000 increase this month, with the Like model now costing R$ 74.990. However, it is possible to acquire the Mobi for R$ 63.990 through the Acesse Fiat Program. All versions are equipped with a 1.0 Fire engine of 74 hp and 95 Nm and a 5-speed manual transmission. The top Trekking version costs R$ 77.990, without optional extras.

1st Place – Renault Kwid – R$ 74.590

In first place, the cheapest car in Brazil is the Renault Kwid. The Zen version, the most accessible, has a starting price of R$ 74.590, with an option for Pearl Black paint. Equipped with a 1.0 flex engine of 71 hp and 98 Nm and a 5-speed manual transmission, the Kwid reaches R$ 80.590 in the top-of-the-line Outsider version. It is worth noting that Renault’s website offers the model starting at R$ 62.990, about R$ 12.000 below the official price.

Price Table

Position Car Minimum Price Maximum Price
1st Renault Kwid R$ 74.590 R$ 80.590
2nd Fiat Mobi R$ 74.990 R$ 77.990
3rd Citroën C3 R$ 77.590 R$ 100.990
4th Fiat Argo R$ 86.990 R$ 102.990
5th Renault Stepway R$ 86.990 R$ 86.990

These models represent the most economic options in the market, but it is important to remember that prices may vary according to the region and specific dealership promotions.

Furthermore, for those looking to save even more, it’s worth checking the conditions for the PCD audience and specific discount programs.
