The Federal Government, in partnership with CNI and Senai, announces the offer of 200 thousand free places in professional qualification courses until 2027. The initiative aims to address the shortage of qualified labor in Brazil, covering sectors such as information technology, civil construction and automotive, and promoting social inclusion and employability.
In a surprising move that promises to transform the Brazilian labor market, the Federal Government, in partnership with the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the National Service of Industrial Apprenticeship (Senai), announced the offer of 200 thousand free places on professional qualification courses.
This initiative, formalized through a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) signed on December 18, aims to address the growing shortage of skilled labor in the country and promote social inclusion through professional education.
The agreement, valid until 2027, covers a wide range of sectors, including food and beverages, automation and mechatronics, automotive, construction, electronics, energy, management, logistics, information technology, among others.

According to the Brazilian government, the diversity of areas served by the program reflects the intention to meet the specific demands of different segments of Brazilian industry.
The sectors covered include:
- Food and drinks
- Automation and mechatronics
- Automotivo
- Construction
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy
- Fleet
- Logistics
- Information Technology
This scope seeks to meet the qualification needs in strategic sectors for the country's economic development.
Initiative objectives
The main objective of the ACT is to increase the employability of Brazilian workers, guaranteeing decent work and expanding participation in processes that generate work and income opportunities.
Furthermore, the initiative aims to promote social inclusion, reduce poverty, combat discrimination and reduce the vulnerability of populations at risk.
Statements by authorities
During the signing ceremony, the Minister of Work and Employment, Luiz Marinho, highlighted the importance of professional qualification for insertion in the job market and for building a more promising future for young Brazilians.
“We need to create conditions so that young people leave high school prepared to face the challenges of the job market and make the transition to higher education, if they so wish,” said Marinho.
The president of CNI, Ricardo Alban, reinforced the role of work and occupation as instruments to reduce inequalities and weaken crime.
“We want social development to have inclusion. We want social development to have purchasing power, to have a market and, thus, make the wheel of the economy turn in a constructive and permanent way”, highlighted Alban.
National Industry Observatory
During the event, the National Industry Observatory was also presented, a database that aims to be the largest hub of information on the Brazilian industrial sector.
In partnership with the Federal Government, the Observatory will provide strategic intelligence for the entire industrial ecosystem, helping to identify global transformations and position Brazilian industry in relation to other countries.
Expected impact
The offer of these 200 free places on professional qualification courses represents a significant opportunity for workers seeking to improve their skills and increase their chances of entering the job market.
Furthermore, the initiative contributes to strengthening the national industry, meeting the demand for qualified labor and boosting the country's economic and social development.
How to Apply
Those interested in participating in the courses should pay attention to the information released by Senai and the Ministry of Labor and Employment regarding registration procedures, prerequisites and deadlines.
The expectation is that registrations will open soon, allowing candidates to begin their qualification as soon as possible.
Do you believe that this initiative will be enough to meet the demand for qualified labor in Brazil and reduce unemployment in the coming years?
There **** most of the opportunities are for those who have completed 3rd grade high school
I wanted to go back to studying. There is EJA in my city, but it is only at night. And I work at night.
There is EJA online. Do some research.
You can sign up and take a government exam called ENCEJA…this exam will give you a high school certificate. You can study on YouTube on the Finish Your Studies channel. Search the internet for ENCEJA and when you can sign up for the exam, it is usually in August. I did it, got my certificate and now I am in the 5th semester of the Law Course. Do it, it is worth it. Good luck.
You wasted your time!
Because you didn't take a technical course or at most a technological course!
Don't read it, right!!!
Hello. I also finished my studies, through ENCCeja, I graduated as an occupational safety technician, and on January 25th, I started Civil Engineering…
Hello. I also finished my studies through encceja, I graduated as an occupational safety technician, and in February 25, I started Civil Engineering.
Sesi has the professionalizing EJA that offers a free course at Senai, I started in May of this year and finish in February of next year, both together because one is linked to the other, you cannot give up one or the other, the classes are EAD for EJA and also for the course, however the course has some face-to-face classes, sometimes two to three times a month.
Look for Senai, it has semi-presential EJA
Take the Enem and get a score of 450 and ask for the diploma and even get an EAD college or if you're lucky, even a private college with Prouni
Do EJA AT COLEGIO INTEGRADO POLIVALENTE
I advise you to take the ENCCEJA 2025, you take the test and complete the 3rd year of high school, now high school.
