Investing In The Startup Since 2019, Microsoft Plans To Greatly Expand The Use Of Technology In The Products Made By Both Software Companies

This Monday, 23rd, Microsoft announced that it is heavily investing in new technologies, software, and artificial intelligence in its products. With a multibillion-dollar investment in startups, the company has been investing in OpenAI and the ChatGPT chatbot since 2019.

The software technology companies have not disclosed the amount of investments made so far, but it is known that the capital allocated so far dates back to investments made in 2019 and 2021 in OpenAI.

A Small Technology Startup?

Despite being a small software company in revenue, OpenAI planned to sell its shares in 2023, with a public offering of approximately US$ 29 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal. It is the most valuable American technology startup on paper.
