A new military aircraft, or the LARGEST military aircraft ever produced in the southern hemisphere, was presented to the Czech Republic on Tuesday, the 17th, by the Embraer, by the FAP (Portuguese Air Force). The presented project was the Embraer KC-390 aircraft.
The presentation of the military aircraft, which took place at Air Base 11, also considered the implementation of the new KC-390 armament and a visit to the facilities inaugurated at the same unit that will serve the new aircraft.
By the end of 2023, it is estimated that the FAP will also acquire the military aircraft produced by Embraer. In addition, Portugal has already acquired about 5 KC-390 aircraft and a simulator from Embraer, with the first acquisition occurring at the end of 2022. Embraer already has two aircraft orders from the Netherlands and Hungary.
