© 2023: average sale price of diesel, price to consumer of diesel A, biodiesel, gasoline C, and anhydrous ethanol.
Starting tomorrow (12/27), Petrobras will announce a reduction of R$ 0.30 per liter in its average sale price of diesel A to distributors, which will be adjusted to R$ 3.48 per liter.
The adjustment made by the company is the result of an analysis of the fundamentals of the external and internal markets, in accordance with its commercial strategy implemented in May 2023. This change in pricing policy began to incorporate parameters that reflect Petrobras’s best refining and logistics conditions in its pricing, making it more competitive in the market.
Impact of Petrobras on Fuel Commercialization
Considering the mandatory blend of 88% diesel A and 12% biodiesel for the composition of diesel sold at gas stations, Petrobras’s share in the price to consumer will have a reduction of R$ 0.31 per liter, totaling an average of R$ 3.07 per liter sold at the pump.
