Petrobras and Senai are offering 700 places on free courses with a scholarship of up to R$858. Last chance: registrations close today!

More than 700 free places with scholarships of up to R$858 are available in courses promoted by Petrobras and Senai. This is the last opportunity to register and guarantee professional and technical training in areas such as mechanics and civil construction.

Imagine a chance to boost your career without having to spend a penny, and still receive a grant to support yourself while you study.

Well that's exactly what the Petrobras and Senai are offering to the residents of Pernambuco.

But make no mistake: this opportunity is for a limited time and requires immediate attention from interested parties.

What may seem like a distant dream for many is just one click away from becoming reality, but the registration deadline ends today, December 23, 2024.

As disclosed by Petrobras, in partnership with the National Industrial Training Service (Senai), more than 700 places are available in 11 free courses.

The initiative is part of the Autonomy and Income Program, created to benefit low-income people, promoting professional training and expanding opportunities in the job market.

The program not only ensures quality education but also offers a scholarship that ranges from R $ 660 to R $ 858, depending on the circumstances of each student.

Who can participate and how the selection process works

Courses are open to candidates over 18 years and who meet the educational requirements specified in the notice.

Among the selection criteria, priority is given to people in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, such as women, people with disabilities, black people, indigenous people and refugees.

According to information in the notice, the selection will be carried out through an electronic draw, scheduled for the day 8 January 2025. This measure aims to ensure a fair and transparent process.

Interested parties can register in two ways:

  • Via the internet, accessing the website indicated at the end of the article;
  • Or in person, directly at the Senai unit, preferably.

Flexible location and hours

Classes will be held in person at several Senai units spread across Pernambuco, including the neighborhoods of Santo Amaro and Areias, in addition to the cities of Cape Saint Augustine and Ipojuca.

To facilitate access, classes will be available in shifts morning and afternoon, allowing students to choose the times that best suit their routines.

Social impact and labor market

As highlighted by Petrobras, this initiative goes beyond technical training.

The program also promotes social inclusion and equity, allowing more people to achieve financial independence and stability in the job market.

The scholarship, in addition to alleviating economic difficulties, helps students to fully dedicate themselves to classes.

This is what I can refer to as this incubator idea of socioeconomic inclusion, given that our country still needs so much preparation of qualified people for the job market... Congratulations to those involved in this project and healthy investment in the engagement of these institutions.
