Petrobras is already taking the necessary investigation measures to determine what led the employee to death. Here is the statement from Petrobras:

“We regret to inform the passing of an employee of RIP Serviços Industriais that occurred this Sunday[…] The Company has already informed the regulatory agencies and will establish a commission, according to internal procedures, to investigate the causes of the accident”, it stated in a note.

According to those responsible, the name of the victim is Sandro Ferreiro, and he served as a mechanic at the unit; his family is from Marataízes, in the state of Espírito Santo. At the time of the accident, a medical helicopter was immediately summoned, but there wasn’t time for rescue. Our sincerest condolences from Click Petróleo e Gás and from our entire class in solidarity with the worker and his family. Many think we are in a vacation colony, which is “easy stuff”. Therefore, take care of your life; there is no greater good than returning safely to land and to your family.
