PetroRio, a Brazilian company in the oil and energy sector, opens vacancies for engineers and geophysicists in the city of Rio de Janeiro

A PetroRio, a company in the oil and gas sector, announced that it has vacancies for Operations Engineer, Drilling Engineer and Geophysicist to work at the company's headquarters, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro. The company is focused on investments and recovery of assets in production, specializing in reservoir management and the redevelopment of mature fields. Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, PetroRio is focused on oil and gas production through operational efficiency and lower costs, currently with assets in Campo de Polvo, Campo de Frade, Campo de Manati and in the Foz do Amazonas Basin.

Operations Engineer

Requirements: complete higher education in engineering, preferably chemical, petroleum or production; fluent English; minimum experience of 7 years in the respective area; mba is a plus; good communication and interpersonal skills.

Drilling Engineer

Requirements: Higher education in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanic. Chemical, Electrical or Civil; 15 years of experience in drilling, completion and well intervention operations; Knowledge in well integrity (Norsok D-010, SGIP / ANP);

Background in directional and anti-collision drilling is essential; experience in drilling in narrow; experience in drilling engineering and drilling supervision; experience in subsea well design is an advantage; fluent English.

Full Geophysicist/Mr.

Requirements: Degree in geology or geophysics, with 7 years or more experience in the oil industry; Knowledge in seismic processing, monitoring of processing and carrying out quality control of seismic data;

Knowledge of post-stack seismic data processing flowcharts (attributes, seismic calibration vs well, processing, synthetic seismograms, etc.); Experience in Petrel (Schlumberger) and Epos (Emerson-Paradigm) platforms.
