Are You Looking For An Automatic Car That Combines Reliability And Economy? Check Out The 2008 To 2014 Toyota Corolla And Don’t Be Disappointed!

The Toyota Corolla, especially the models manufactured between 2008 and 2014, could be the perfect choice for you! These vehicles stand out not only for their affordable price but also for their durability and performance. With prices starting at R$ 40 thousand, this used car becomes an attractive alternative for those who do not want to give up quality, according to the website feedtvnews.

Toyota Corolla: Robustness And Comfort In One Car

The models of the Toyota Corolla from this year range offer a robust, spacious, and comfortable automobile. Furthermore, they maintain the reliability that the brand is known for. Equipped with power steering, air conditioning, airbags, a complete electrical system, and an onboard computer, these cars ensure a good driving experience. The trunk is another highlight, with a capacity of 470 liters, ideal for those who need space.

Comparison Between The Versions Of The Toyota Corolla

Let’s take a look at the differences between the main versions of the Toyota Corolla:

  • Corolla XLi: Equipped with a 1.6 gasoline engine, it has simple trim and is less sought after compared to the XEi.
  • Corolla XEi: With a 1.8 engine, this version includes side airbags, ABS, fog lights, and a multifunction steering wheel. The four-speed automatic transmission is a feature that enhances drivability.
  • Corolla SE-G: This top-of-the-line version comes with an automatic transmission as standard and features xenon headlights, wood trim, and leather seats.
  • Corolla GLi: Launched in 2009, it is a simplified version of the XEi, lacking some features, such as fog lights.

Engine And Changes Over The Years

In 2010, the Toyota Corolla introduced a 2.0 flex engine, increasing power to 153/142 hp. The 2012 lineup brought minor design changes and a new 1.8 engine with 144/139 hp, in addition to a sporty version, the XRS 2.0.

Avoid The XLi Version

If you are considering your options, you might want to avoid the Corolla XLi. Although it is a cheaper option, it has limitations in trim and the air conditioning system, which is analog. The ABS braking system is only available in the automatic version with a 1.6 engine, which can be considered weak for a car of this size.

Market Values Of The Toyota Corolla

The prices of used Toyota Corollas vary according to the year and version. Here are some examples:

XLi 1.6 Version:

  • 2008: R$ 39.423
  • 2009: R$ 45.500
  • 2010: R$ 50.860

XEi 1.8 AT Version:

  • 2008: R$ 41.000
  • 2009: R$ 50.000
  • 2010: R$ 52.500

SE-G 1.8 AT Version:
