With New Agricultural Machines, Promaq 2025 Strengthens Rural Production in Mato Grosso, Increasing Efficiency in the Field and Supporting Local Small Producers
The delivery of 50 agricultural machines by Promaq 2025 marked a new chapter in the strengthening of the agricultural sector in Mato Grosso, according to a report published.
Held on October 24, the ceremony took place at the Federal Superintendence of Agriculture and Livestock (SFA/MT) in Várzea Grande and directly benefited 41 municipalities in the state.
The program, created by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), aims to modernize rural production and boost regional development through mechanization and improved infrastructure in the field.

China suspended beef purchases from three Brazilian meatpacking plants of JBS, Prima Foods, and Frialto after finding a banned synthetic hormone in tests conducted on the meat, two days after reauthorizing three other plants that had been embargoed since last year.
The investment, acquired with funds from parliamentary amendments, includes 31 tractors, eight front loaders, nine motor graders, and two hydraulic excavators.
These machines arrive to assist in the recovery of rural roads, facilitate the transportation of production, and optimize the work of family farmers.
For many municipal managers, the initiative represents a significant achievement for those who depend on the field as their main source of income.
The mayor of Bom Jesus do Araguaia, Marcilei Alves, emphasized that the received tractor will help increase the productive capacity of local families, especially those dedicated to dairy farming.
According to him, the machinery will enhance soil preparation and cattle management, strengthening one of the region’s main productive chains.
Sustainable Development and Family Farming Highlighted in Promaq 2025
Among the main focuses of Promaq 2025 is the encouragement of family farming and the efficient use of natural resources.
With the new machines, the municipalities involved will be able to carry out agricultural activities at a lower cost and with higher productivity, reducing the time spent preparing the land and minimizing input waste.
In addition, mechanization helps to reduce the physical effort of rural workers and increases the cultivation capacity in areas previously limited by the lack of adequate equipment.
The executive secretary of Mapa, Irajá Lacerda, highlighted that the program reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening local productive chains.
He emphasized that understanding the peculiarities of each region is essential to ensuring effective and lasting public policies.
According to Lacerda, the deliveries carried out by the Program Promaq 2025 demonstrate the result of joint work between the federal government, the National Congress, and the municipalities of Mato Grosso.
Strengthening of Rural Infrastructure and Creation of Opportunities
The superintendent of Agriculture and Livestock in Mato Grosso, Edson Paulino, explained that the machines delivered by Promaq 2025 will play an essential role in maintaining rural roads and improving the logistics of producing output.
With more accessible roads, small producers will be able to reduce transportation costs and increase the marketing of their products at local fairs and distribution centers.
This action benefits both large agricultural hubs and smaller municipalities such as Araguainha, Poxoréu, Nova Maringá, and União do Sul, strengthening regional economic balance.
The investment also stimulates the creation of direct and indirect jobs, mainly in the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
With plans to distribute more than 20,000 machines across the country, Promaq 2025 establishes itself as one of the largest modernization programs in the national agricultural sector.
The initiative not only promotes increased productivity but also contributes to social inclusion and environmental sustainability, fundamental pillars for the balanced growth of Brazilian agribusiness.
Technological Advancement and Valorization of Rural Communities
By uniting technological innovation and public policies, Promaq 2025 reinforces the importance of investing in the foundation of the economy in Mato Grosso.
The delivery of the machines represents more than just a one-time support: it is a strategic step to guarantee the future of rural production, bringing solutions directly to the municipalities and producers who most need government support.
The positive impact is already noticeable in the regions served, where mechanization is beginning to transform the pace of agricultural activities, making them more efficient and sustainable.
With the use of new technologies, local farmers gain autonomy and competitiveness, strengthening the growth cycle in the interior of the state.
The program’s commitment to territorial development and the valorization of rural producers confirms that investing in modernization is investing in people.
Promaq 2025 thus stands as a symbol of a new era for the fields of Mato Grosso, where progress and sustainability walk hand in hand.
