According to information released by Ifes itself, the Selective Process 151/2024 offers 20 spots in the Veterinary Medicine bachelor’s degree program.

Course and Academic Structure

The Veterinary Medicine course at Ifes is in-person, with up to 40% of the workload potentially offered remotely.

The Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) is regularly updated to meet market demands and legal and pedagogical needs.

Students have access to a comprehensive education, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the profession, ensuring they are well-prepared to work in various areas of veterinary medicine.

According to the announcement, 50% of the spots are allocated to open competition, while the remaining spots adhere to quota policies.

Candidates interested in affirmative actions must present supporting documentation, as specified in the announcement.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must have completed high school, with priority given to those who completed it entirely in public schools.

It is essential to fill out all information correctly at the time of application.

The application fee is R$ 30.00, but there are possibilities for exemption for candidates who meet the requirements outlined in the announcement.

Essay Exam and Selection

The selection will be conducted based on an essay exam. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of scores, initially considering those in open competition.

If candidates do not achieve sufficient scores for this category, they will then compete for the spots reserved for affirmative actions.

The essay will be administered on January 26, 2025, at the Ifes Itapina campus.

The preliminary results are expected to be announced on February 10, 2025, with a period for appeals on February 11 and 12. The final results will be published on February 27, 2025.
