Did You Know That You Can Enter a Federal University Without Taking an Exam? UNILA Opened More Than 350 Spots in Free Courses! These Courses Are in Areas Such as Engineering, Health, Arts, and Much More.

Have you imagined entering a federal university without having to face a traditional entrance exam?

For those who wish to start a higher education course still in the first semester of 2025, the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA) is offering a unique opportunity for easier access to higher education.

The UNILA 2025 Remaining Vacancies Selection Process is already open and allows the participation of students who have taken the National High School Exam (ENEM) in any edition between 2020 and 2024.

More Than 350 Spots Available for Undergraduate Courses

The recently published announcement by UNILA provides 357 spots distributed across 27 courses in different fields of knowledge.

This initiative aims to fill the vacancies that remained unoccupied in previous selections, allowing more students to access quality higher education.

Check out some of the undergraduate programs with the highest number of available spots:

  • Anthropology – Latin American Cultural Diversity: 24 spots
  • Political Science and Sociology – Society, State, and Politics in Latin America: 28 spots
  • Economic Sciences – Economy, Integration, and Development: 21 spots
  • Rural Development and Food Security: 22 spots
  • Materials Engineering: 22 spots
  • Chemical Engineering: 17 spots
  • History – Latin America: 17 spots
  • Mathematics: 19 spots
  • Cultural Mediation – Arts and Letters: 26 spots
  • Chemistry: 15 spots
  • Social Work: 11 spots

Who Can Participate in the Selection?

The selection process is aimed at candidates who:

  • Have completed High School;
  • Have participated in at least one edition of the ENEM between 2020 and 2024;
  • Have obtained a score greater than zero in the essay;
  • Did not register as “tutors” in the ENEM.

This initiative seeks to expand opportunities for students who wish to enter higher education but have not been able to secure a spot in traditional selection processes.

How Does the Classification Work?

The selection will be based on the arithmetic average of the scores obtained in the ENEM (objective tests and essay). Candidates can choose the edition of the exam that is most advantageous for them.

For those interested in the Music course, the selection will consist of two stages:

  1. Evaluation of the ENEM score;
  2. Specific Skills Test, consisting of submitting a completed form and a video performing at least three songs from different genres.

UNILA Selection Process Calendar

  • March 8 to 13, 2025: Registration period
  • March 18: Release of preliminary classification
