Unexpected Drop In Market Value Makes Ten Models Cheaper And Changes Consumers’ Perception Of Their Prices.

In recent months, several new and used models have experienced significant price drops. This movement surprised consumers and opened up good buying opportunities.

Check out the vehicles that have caught the most attention in this scenario. This article was based on information from the channel Atlas Auto.

Fiat Argo 1.0 Firefly Flex

The first on the list is the Fiat Argo 1.0 Firefly Flex Manual. Previously sold for around R$ 90,000, it now costs about R$ 80,000 after the IPI reduction.

Even in the base version, without multimedia, it stands out for its interior space and superior finish compared to models like the Mobi.

For app drivers, it can be an interesting option since it offers more comfort and robustness.

Volkswagen Nivus 1.0 Turbo Highline

Another car that saw a price drop is the Volkswagen Nivus. The model, listed at R$ 169,000, can be found for R$ 142,000 to R$ 145,000 in exchange bonus campaigns.

Fully equipped, with ACC and collision alert, it impresses with its modern design and spacious trunk.

Despite this, there are still criticisms regarding the finish and the delay in acceleration, common in Volks engines due to emission regulations.

Hyundai HB20S 1.0 Flex Limited Plus

The HB20S 1.0 aspirated also appears as a depreciated option. It used to cost R$ 110,000 but can now be found for R$ 98,000.

It comes standard with six airbags, a digital dashboard, and multimedia with wireless mirroring.

Its good resale liquidity makes it a solid choice. Still, many consumers prefer rivals like the Onix Plus, even though they offer fewer features.

Citroën C4 Lounge 1.6 Turbo 2018/2019

Among the used cars, the Citroën C4 Lounge 1.6 Turbo stands out. The Live Business version, equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and turbo engine, has dropped significantly in price, being sold for R$ 65,000.

Previously affected by the bad reputation inherited from the C4 Pallas, it now proves to be a reliable car, provided it has been well cared for.

It offers comfort, good interior space, and a still-current design, especially in the facelift with LED lights.

Hyundai Azera 3.3 V6

A large sedan that lost a lot of value is the Hyundai Azera 3.3 V6. It used to cost over R$ 100,000 but can now be found for around R$ 45,000 in 2010 models.

With 260 horsepower, six airbags, and refined finishing, it delivers plenty of performance and comfort.

A warning goes out regarding maintenance, which can be costly if the car lacks a proper care history.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

Another standout is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Used models, with just over 50,000 km, can already be found for R$ 100,000.

This places it in the same price range as new compact SUVs, but with much more equipment and space.

Despite criticisms of its rear design, it has good finishing, well-tuned suspension, and versions with all-wheel drive, which enhances its market value.

Peugeot 208 Active

In the compact hatch segment, the Peugeot 208 Active has dropped to R$ 77,000 in the base version.

The modern look and quality finishing are strong points, even in the most basic model.

The limited interior space is a disadvantage, but the enjoyable handling compensates for it. With just over R$ 80,000, it’s already possible to get equipped versions with multimedia.

GWM Haval H6 One

The market was also surprised by the GWM Haval H6 One. With a hybrid engine of 240 horsepower, it stands out as a more accessible alternative within the brand’s lineup.

It competes directly with models like the BYD Song Pro, delivering a good mechanical package and robust visual.

Additionally, it has been gaining traction on the streets, showing increasing acceptance from the Brazilian public.

BYD Song Pro GS

Speaking of competition, the BYD Song Pro in the GS 2024/2025 version has dropped to R$ 177,000.

The model stands out for its refined finishing, efficient multimedia, and comfortable seats.

The sense of sophistication is greater than that of the GWM rival, and the brand has already established a good reputation in hybrid and electric technology. The competitive price reinforces the fierce competition in this segment.

Fiat Fastback Abarth

Finally, the Fiat Fastback Abarth completes the list. Even before the facelift, it can still be found brand new in stock. The coupe SUV offers recalibrated suspension, adjusted transmission, and a sporty look. Although it’s not a pure sportscar, it goes beyond just simple aesthetic stickers.

It offers larger wheels, exclusive details, and, in the newer versions, a panoramic roof and blind-spot alert.

The model has been gaining fans and even inspiring rumors about future Abarth models based on other cars from the brand.

A Market In Motion

The sudden drop in prices of these vehicles shows how the market is constantly changing. Factory discounts, trade-in promotions, and the accelerated depreciation of used cars have generated unexpected opportunities.

The most important thing is that attentive consumers can find good deals, as long as they carefully evaluate the maintenance history and condition of the vehicle.

This list reveals that, amid a scenario of high overall prices, it is still possible to find advantageous options.

Whether in an entry-level compact car, a depreciated luxury sedan, or a promotional hybrid SUV, the opportunities are there for those who know how to search.

Esses usados a esse preço só na mão de particular é difícil encontrar, nas lojas de usados estão quase o preço dos zero km!
