CEFET-MG Opens Registrations for Free Technical Courses in 2025 with 2,160 Slots Available at Various Campuses in Minas Gerais.
The Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG) has opened registrations for the selection process of Free Technical Courses for the 2025 academic year. Interested candidates have until October 8 to register and participate in the selection that will offer 2,160 slots. The exam is scheduled for November 24.
Slots and Registration Modalities
The slots are distributed between the Reservation System for Slots (SRV) and Open Competition (AC) modalities.
Registrations can be made through the CEFET-MG website. To register, candidates must pay a fee of R$ 70.00, with the option to request a waiver according to the rules established in the notice.

At the Leopoldina Campus, interested individuals can enroll in Electromechanics, Computer Science, Electrotechnics, and Mechanics.
The Nepomuceno Campus offers Electrotechnics, Computer Networks, and Mechatronics.
At the Nova Gameleira Campus, the courses available are Civil Construction, Electronics, Biomedical Equipment, Electrotechnics, Computer Science, and Computer Networks.
The Nova Suíça Campus offers Environment, Mechanics, Roads, Chemistry, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Traffic, and Hospitality. Finally, at the Timóteo Campus, the courses offered are Civil Construction, Chemistry, Metallurgy, and Systems Development.
Updates on the Selection Process for 2024
For the year 2024, the CEFET exam booklet will contain 50 questions covering Portuguese Language and Brazilian Literature, Mathematics, Science, Geography, and History.
The reference matrix for the syllabus has been updated to align with the latest guidelines.
Additionally, the Reservation System for Slots (SRV) has been modified according to Law No. 14,723/2023.
The slots for the courses of External Concurrent (CE) and Subsequent (SUB) will be offered in a unified manner.
The list of courses starting in the second semester of 2025 (Offer 2025/2) will be available on the registration screen.
Candidates can make the payment of the registration fee via PIX, credit card, or GRU Simple boleto.
