In addition, the ROVs were delivered to OceanPact to be used in the Petrobras fields with a launching and Active plywood Dynacon recovery as well as surface power and control facilities associates.
FET also delivered a VMAX ROV Simulator configured with a complete XLX-C Console, which is supplied with a series of training exercises or 'scenarios', each designed to train and assess pilot competence in a variety of skills such as such as cable management, manipulator control and tool operation.
According to Simone Pizzolato, FET UK Commercial Manager: “We continue to see high demand for our latest generation XLX-C vehicles as our customers realize the benefits of their improved performance in a more compact form.”
According to FET, the 200m deep 3.000HP XLX-C offers the high performance of a work class vehicle in a smaller form. Also, it is worth mentioning that the vehicles have a high-flow auxiliary hydraulic circuit combined with a high carrying capacity to carry additional tools and sensors.
