Renault Kwid, until recently the cheapest car in Brazil, had its value adjusted and lost its position as the most affordable car in the country.
After lowering the price of the Kwid E-Tech model, which now starts at R$ 99,990, Renault announced a measure that goes against this reduction: the company raised the prices of all combustion versions of Kwid, Logan, and Oroch.
According to a table released by the automaker, these adjustments start at R$ 1,300 and go up to R$ 2,270 in some cases. On the other hand, the information is that the other models of the company are being sold this February at the same prices as in January.
At the beginning of this year, due to legal obligations, Renault installed new safety features in the Kwid, Stepway, Logan, and Oroch. Among these items, which increased the price of the cars by about R$ 500, are turn signal lights and a stability control system.
