Telescopic Forks And Chassis Layout
The TVS Motor Company highlights that the layout has been installed on a monocast subframe, which efficiently utilizes space and provides aerodynamics to reduce drag resistance.
The electric vehicle also features telescopic forks at the front and a compensated Monoshock at the rear, a four-element LED headlight, cruise control, a dashboard consisting of a 10.2-inch HD + TFT touch screen, an expansive forged aluminum panel, and TVS NavPro, the integrated navigation system.
The highlight of the new electric motorcycle goes to its motor that provides an exhilarating acceleration. With 11 kW of power, the TVS X is the most powerful EV in the sector. According to the manufacturer, the model can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and its top speed is 105 km/h.
This is an air-cooled motor, which is different from other existing forced convection cooling methods, reducing the temperature of critical components and enhancing performance.
TVS X Battery Delivers Range Above 100 Km
The battery has been placed under a structure that leverages the center of gravity of the new electric motorcycle, aimed at improving dynamics and the rider’s sense of control.
The battery delivers 4.44 kWh of installed energy capacity, one of the best in the industry. The model also features a charging management system developed in-house by TVS Motor.
With the system, it is possible to monitor the flow to ensure safe operation, which guarantees a prolonged lifespan of the cells. To charge, you simply use the Smart X Home fast charger, which goes from 0 to 50% in just 50 minutes using an optional 3 kW fast charger or a portable charger that goes from 0 to 80% in 4 hours and 30 minutes.
