The Young Apprentice Positions at Vale Are Intended for Youths Aged 18 to 22 Years with Completed High School
The mining company Vale opened registrations for the Young Apprentice Program until December 12. There will be over 700 immediate vacancies distributed across various municipalities where the company is based, including in Minas Gerais, in the city of Barbacena. To apply, candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old and have completed High School.
People with disabilities interested in the Young Apprentice positions have no age limit; however, candidates must reside in the location where the chosen vacancy is being offered and be available to work 4, 6, or 8 hours daily, depending on the course. The same rules apply to the Talent Bank.
Candidates also need to have the complete vaccination schedule against Covid-19 (appropriate for their age) and be up to date with the yellow fever vaccine.

Vale Selection Process
The selection process for the Young Apprentice positions at Vale occurs in eliminatory stages, all conducted online, including tests, group dynamics, and psychological assessments.
Candidates who pass the selection will also participate in a virtual panel with managers and then undergo admission medical exams and document submission, including a vaccination card proving immunization against Covid-19 and yellow fever.
