Millions of retirees and pensioners will have a higher amount in their account between May 25 and June 8, when the INSS pays the second installment of the INSS 13th along with the monthly benefit.
Second installment enters the calendar
The anticipation of the INSS 13th was repeated by the federal government in 2026 and effectively created a kind of double payment for Social Security policyholders.

Consultation can be done via Meu INSS
Policyholders can check the updated statement via the Meu INSS app or website. Access requires CPF and password registered on Gov.br.
After logging in, you need to select “Payment Statement”. In this area, the beneficiary checks expected amounts, deposit dates, and applied deductions.
The consultation helps retirees and pensioners confirm the credit of the second installment of the INSS 13th and better organize their finances.
Government reinforces alert against scams
With the anticipation, the government also expanded the alert about fraud against retirees. Official information began to be disclosed through the verified channel on WhatsApp, identified with an authentication seal.
The aim is to reduce scams with false messages used to steal personal data. The INSS emphasizes that it does not request CPF, address, bank password, or sensitive data via messaging app.

The extra payment occurs at a time of budget pressure for many Brazilian retirees, due to the increased cost of living.
