BYD Dolphin Is Gaining Major Rivals and Now Mullen Automotive Has Launched the Mullen-Go, the Most Affordable Electric Car in the World, Costing Just US$ 9,5 Thousand.
The advancement in the electric car market and the popularization of these vehicles is a central goal of the industry. Thus, Mullen Automotive emerges as a major leader in this movement with its newest electric car, called the Mullen-Go.
New Electric Car from Mullen Automotive Promises to Be More Affordable than the BYD Dolphin
With an unwavering focus on developing affordable solutions, Mullen Automotive presents its new most affordable electric car in the world, the Mullen-Go. The model, which aims to compete directly with the BYD Dolphin, promises to democratize electric mobility, since its starting price in China is less than US$ 9,5 thousand, which in direct conversion equals R$ 47 thousand), positioning it as the cheapest electric car in the world.
Although initially developed to transport four passengers in China, the vehicle was adapted to meet commercial demands in the West. Thus, the automaker plans to sell the electric car in countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, and Ireland.

The car that most Brazilians buy today may cease to exist by 2030, and automakers already know that the 1.0 aspirated engine with manual transmission is numbered in the country.
In the United Kingdom, for example, the vehicle will be available for a slightly higher price, around US$ 11,999, which in direct conversion is the equivalent of R$ 59,783.82 at the current exchange rate. However, even with this increase, it remains an affordable option compared to other alternatives.
In Brazil, the cheapest model currently is the Caoa Chery iCar, with a significantly higher price of R$ 119,990. This strategic expansion positions the Mullen-Go at the center of urban mobility solutions, alongside major players already with a strong presence in the market, such as the BYD Dolphin.
Most Affordable Electric Car in the World Delivers 200 km Per Charge
Obviously, the electric car delivers something beyond affordability. After all, it is a complete model that goes beyond just being a cheap option, which is already a significant differential.
First, its electric motor of 46 horsepower provides a surprising acceleration of up to 100 km/h. This makes it perfectly suitable for urban mobility. In addition, its weight of 795 kg and its 16 kWh battery allow a range of 200 km per charge.
Finally, it is possible that the most affordable electric car in the world, which will compete with the BYD Dolphin, will arrive in more markets with more competitive prices. This would be a significant competitor in a market like ours, where its price is practically half of what is seen here.
Is BYD Dolphin on Borrowed Time?

The Baojun Cloud features a motor with 134 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. The automaker offers two versions with battery capacities of 37.9 kWh and 60 kWh, delivering ranges of 360 km and 460 km, respectively.
