The company Funchal Construção e Serviços Ltda was the winner of the bidding process, related to notice No. 009/2025, with a proposal worth R$ 26,795,085.97.
The project includes two main fronts: asphalt paving and implementation of the stormwater drainage system in strategic sections connecting the city to the industrial complex — one of the engines of the local economy.
The new phase of works marks a significant advance in the urbanization process of the region, which aims to align its infrastructure with the rapid pace of economic growth.
According to the state government, the initiative aims to prepare the city to welcome new investments and improve the logistics of freight transport.
During the announcement of the homologation, the state secretary of Infrastructure and Logistics, Guilherme Alcântara, highlighted the impact of the work on local development:
“This paving is not just asphalt. It is infrastructure designed to ensure competitiveness for the industry, attract new investments, and generate jobs. Ribas is experiencing a historic moment, and the State is fulfilling its role as a driver of development.”
Next Steps: Service Order And Start Of Works
With the official homologation, the contract will now be formally awarded to the winning company. The start of paving and drainage works is scheduled for the coming months, as soon as the service order is issued.
The bidding was conducted according to the criteria of the new Bidding Law (Law No. 14,133/2021), adopting the judgment by the lowest price under a unit price contract regime.
The city of Ribas do Rio Pardo consolidates itself as one of the most promising hubs in the Midwest, and the new phase of works reinforces the State’s commitment to expanding its urban infrastructure and promoting an increasingly attractive environment for private investment.
