The Next Launch Of Samsung Already Arouses Expectation And Comparisons With Chinese Rivals. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, Expected For January, Emerges With Promises Of Larger Battery And Fast Charging. Nonetheless, Some Choices Of The Brand May Generate Criticism In The Market.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch in early next year, likely in January.
The expectation is high, especially because Chinese competitors have been increasing the battery capacity of their models.
The most important thing is that, according to rumors, the new flagship from Samsung will have improvements over the S25 Ultra.

Battery With Slight Increase
A source from X claims that the S26 Ultra will have a 5,500 mAh battery, a 10% increase compared to the 5,000 mAh of the previous model.
However, Chinese brands already offer batteries with capacities of 6,000 mAh or even 7,000 mAh, which may leave the S26 Ultra at a disadvantage in this regard.
Faster Charging
On the other hand, the big news is in the charging.
It is said that the S26 Ultra will support up to 65 W, surpassing for the first time the limit of 45 W in Samsung smartphones.
This means that charging times should improve, although there are still no official details on practical performance.
Additionally, it is expected that the 65 W charger will be sold separately, as is the case with other accessories from the brand.
Thinner Design And Qi2
Interestingly, even with the larger battery, the S26 Ultra will be thinner than the 8.2 mm of the S25 Ultra.
Another highlight is the support for the new wireless charging standard Qi2, which will offer 25 W of power.
This value will also be a record for Samsung smartphones when it comes to wireless charging.
Therefore, the S26 Ultra promises significant improvements but may still face criticism regarding battery capacity.
