The PetroReconcavo, in an important partnership with the National Service of Industrial Learning (Senai), opened registrations this week to select candidates for the free Drilling Professional course.
Registrations are open until January 30, 2022, through the PetroReconcavo website, which has a specific page for the selection process (Click here to access directly).
The classes for the free drilling course will be held in the cities of Alagoinhas, Catu, Mata de São João, and Pojuca in Bahia; and in Mossoró in Rio Grande do Norte.

Selection Process Will Have Two Stages
The selection process to fill the vacancies for the free drilling professionals course will have two stages of assessment: eliminatory and classificatory. The first requirement is that candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration and have completed high school. PetroReconcavo will provide transportation and meals for the selected candidates.
According to the People and Management Manager, Enildes Lagos, the training course for drilling professionals will also include practical classes. “The selected candidates will closely experience operations with the opportunity to be in a very learning-oriented environment. A great opportunity for those who want to improve their skills in the job market,” explains Enildes.
Drillers operate drilling systems within the process of drilling oil and gas wells, adhering to technical, quality, safety, health, environmental preservation, and social responsibility standards.
Main Drilling Systems
The main drilling systems are: load support, energy generation and transmission, load movement, rotation, circulation, well safety, monitoring, and the subsurface system, also known as the drilling column.
