Through the Samsung Innovation Campus, Samsung and Senai-SP are offering free courses in the Distance Learning modality of Programming and Coding. In total, there will be 50 vacancies with registration until June 6th.
Samsung started a partnership with SENAI-SP and, through the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), the promise is that many free courses will be offered in the EAD modality of Programming and Coding. Check out all the details.

In total, 50 vacancies will be made available for students between 15 and 24 years of age residing in São Paulo (SP). The class model will take place both in an EAD form, through the Samsung Innovation Campus website, and in person, at the Senai Anchieta School, located at Rua Gandavo, 550, in Vila Marina, in São Paulo (SP).
Students will be able to take advantage of all the tools that will be made available by Senai laboratories, following all the preventive measures necessary to comply with social distancing standards, with the use of disinfection products, the use of masks and the spacing between students and teachers.

See, now, all the requirements proposed by Samsung and Senai for free distance learning courses in SP:
- Be between 15 and 24 years old at the start of the course;
- It is mandatory that the candidate is attending regular or technical high school in public schools;
- Be a resident of the municipality of São Paulo (SP);
- Availability of 10 hours per week for EAD and face-to-face activities for 5 months;
- Have an internet connection;
- Have a computer, notebook, tablet or cell phone with an internet connection.
Free courses offered by Samsung and Senai and how to register
Check now the free distance learning courses being offered by Samsung and Senai:

- Arduino;
- Scratch;
- C language;
- Basic Concepts of Problems with Algorithms.
Signing up is simple, just access the Senai Anchieta School website, and fill out a form with data such as: Name, Telephone, E-mail.
It is not necessary to have previous knowledge in any of the free courses and, after enrolling, the candidate will receive a questionnaire by email with ranking questions to eliminate those who do not fit the requirements. In addition to the questions, there will be a writing proposal, which will be analyzed by Senai-SP employees to define who will be chosen.
Those who are approved will be announced in early June. Classes are scheduled to start on June 21st and should last until October.

As a global initiative by Samsung, SIC takes experiences to more than 110 young people, in about 30 countries, and arrived in Brazil last year (2020). In addition to coding and programming courses, the SIC makes available, on its website, free modules for teachers and students of Technical and Secondary Education who are interested in training in the Internet of Things.
