Model RF70H arrived in the Brazilian market with a capacity of 664 liters, built-in installation with reduced spacing, integration with SmartThings, and automatic ice system, as a Samsung bet to expand its presence in the connected refrigerator segment.
Samsung introduced in Brazil the RF70H refrigerator, a French Door model with 664 liters aimed at planned, connected kitchens with built-in installation, according to information released by the company on its official news channel.
The product appears in the brand’s national portfolio with a price starting at R$ 18,999 on the company’s official website, a value that positions the refrigerator among the highest price range models sold by the manufacturer in the country.
According to a statement released by Samsung Newsroom Brazil on June 9, 2026, the RF70H features connectivity through the SmartThings app, energy monitoring with AI Energy Mode, and an automatic ice production system in two formats.

According to the manufacturer, the model was developed for consumers seeking appliances integrated into the home environment, especially in kitchens with custom-made furniture and less tolerance for visible gaps between the refrigerator and cabinets.
Samsung RF70H Refrigerator Targets Planned Kitchens
Among the features reported by Samsung, the built-in design allows installation with only 0.4 cm spacing between the refrigerator and furniture, provided the project complies with the technical installation guidelines.
The company claims that this measure represents the smallest spacing in the category, based on a market comparison conducted in April 2026, information attributed to the manufacturer itself in the promotional material.
With this configuration, the RF70H was designed to reduce visible side gaps in planned kitchens, keeping the refrigerator visually aligned with cabinets and other elements of the home environment.
According to Samsung, the doors can open completely even with the appliance installed close to the furniture, a condition that depends on the correct application of the installation instructions provided for the product.
The model adopts a stainless steel finish and discreet handles, characteristics described by the manufacturer as part of the visual proposal of the line, without altering the external structure necessary to accommodate the internal capacity.

In integrated kitchen projects, built-in installation tends to reduce the visual presence of gaps between furniture and appliances, as long as the available space is compatible with the dimensions of the appliance.
SpaceMax technology expands internal capacity
The capacity of 664 liters is achieved with SpaceMax technology, a feature that, according to Samsung, reduces the thickness of the refrigerator’s internal walls without increasing the external dimensions of the equipment.
This solution allows for increased usable space for storing food, drinks, and containers, keeping the appliance within a size standard compatible with planned kitchen projects.
In the internal organization, the refrigerator includes a sliding shelf that can be adjusted according to the size of the stored items, a feature aimed at using tall containers or products with larger formats.
When retracted, the shelf makes room for bottles and bulky packages, according to Samsung, without requiring the complete removal of other internal components to reorganize the refrigerator.
The combination of expanded capacity and internal adjustment caters to different forms of storage, but the utilization of space depends on the arrangement of food and the usage routine of each household.
SmartThings allows remote control via mobile
In terms of connectivity, the RF70H can be integrated into the SmartThings ecosystem, Samsung’s platform that allows controlling compatible functions of the appliance through a mobile app.
Through the app, the user can check and adjust the temperature remotely, receive open door alerts, and monitor refrigerator functions, provided the appliance is connected to the internet.

The system also offers remote support and diagnostic features, according to the conditions provided by the manufacturer, requiring a Samsung account and compatibility with Android and iOS devices.
In addition to function control, the model integrates with SmartThings Energy, a platform aimed at monitoring the energy consumption of compatible appliances within the brand’s ecosystem.
In this environment, the user can check spending estimates and monitor usage patterns, but the data presented depends on connection conditions, device configuration, and household routine.
AI Energy Mode monitors refrigerator consumption
The AI Energy Mode is presented by Samsung as a feature capable of suggesting automatic adjustments to reduce energy consumption, based on the daily use of the refrigerator.
According to the company, the technology considers operating patterns and can act on controlling the compressor speed and defrost cycle, in combination with the other systems of the appliance.
The manufacturer itself informs that results may vary according to usage conditions, the selected configuration, and each household’s routine, which prevents treating consumption reduction as a fixed result.
Factors such as the frequency of door openings, ambient temperature, volume of stored food, and mode of operation influence the refrigerator’s energy performance during everyday use.
The Digital Inverter compressor is also part of the product’s operation set, promising more stable operation and less noise, according to the specifications released by Samsung.
According to the brand, this component comes with a 10-year warranty for the compressor only, a condition that does not automatically extend to all other parts of the refrigerator.
Dual Auto Ice Maker produces two types of ice
The RF70H features the Dual Auto Ice Maker, an automatic system that produces traditional ice cubes and Ice Bites, a smaller format indicated by Samsung for faster beverage cooling.
According to the data released by the manufacturer, the equipment can produce up to 2.2 kg of ice per day and store up to 4.6 kg, depending on usage conditions.
The refrigerator also has a water and ice dispenser with a 26.7 cm height, a measurement presented by Samsung as suitable for filling larger bottles and tall containers.
With this feature, access to water and ice can occur without opening the main door, reducing the need to access the internal compartment during specific uses.
Another component mentioned by the manufacturer is the filter with the “Twist, Replace” system, designed to simplify the replacement of the refill through a fitting and removal mechanism.
Samsung claims that its original filters use activated carbon and can remove up to 99.9% of contaminants potentially present in the water, based on internal tests conducted by the company.
Internal ventilation distributes cold air
The refrigerator also features an internal ventilation system to distribute cold air among different areas of the refrigerator, according to the technical information released by Samsung.
The function aims to reduce temperature fluctuations inside the appliance and contribute to food preservation, although performance depends on installation and usage.
This feature works in conjunction with the internal structure of the equipment and the electronic temperature control, forming part of the refrigeration technologies package informed by the manufacturer.
Even with automatic features, operation may vary depending on the number of stored items, the frequency of door openings, and the ambient temperature conditions where the refrigerator is installed.
“The RF70H reinforces Samsung’s proposal to develop home appliances that combine sophisticated design, connectivity, and intelligence to transform consumers’ routines,” said Ana Beatriz Azevedo, product manager of white goods at Samsung Brazil.
According to the executive, the model was designed to offer a more integrated experience in the kitchen, combining features connected via SmartThings, internal organization solutions, energy efficiency, and functionalities aimed at different daily needs.
With an initial price of R$ 18,999, the RF70H is part of Samsung’s higher value-added refrigerator segment in Brazil and combines high capacity, connectivity, and automatic ice production.
The product is targeted at consumers looking for a French Door refrigerator with built-in installation, connected features, energy monitoring, and an internal capacity of 664 liters, according to the specifications released by the manufacturer.
