Sine SC Promotes Job Fairs in Garopaba, Joaçaba/Herval d’Oeste and Timbó, with Free Assistance and More Than 8 Thousand Vacancies Available in Santa Catarina.

The National Employment System in Santa Catarina (Sine SC) launched a special calendar of job fairs for the month of May. The initiative aims to facilitate the hiring of workers in different regions of the state, bringing opportunities directly to the population.

After the editions in Joinville and Laguna, the next events will take place in Garopaba, Timbó, and Joaçaba/Herval d’Oeste.

Garopaba Receives First Event of the Month

The first fair of this new cycle will be held in Garopaba next Thursday, May 15.

Meio-Oeste Enters the Schedule on the 17th

The city of Herval d’Oeste, in the Meio-Oeste region, will be the next to receive the action.

On Saturday, May 17, the Sine Job Fair will be held in the central square of the municipality, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The initiative is supported by the CDL of Herval d’Oeste, CIEE, Sine, and local businesses.

Various job opportunities will be available in different areas and qualification levels.

The Sine team will perform profile screening while connecting candidates directly to companies with open positions.

Closing in Timbó on May 24

Concluding the month, the last fair will be in Timbó on May 24, also on a Saturday. The event will take place at the Henry Paul Events Pavilion, starting at 8 AM.

The proposal is to attract workers from the city and neighboring municipalities, offering a wide variety of vacancies and direct support from Sine teams for on-site assistance.

Initiative Strengthens the Local Job Market

According to the State Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Service, Silvio Dreveck, the action is an efficient way to expedite hiring. “The job fairs are great opportunities for workers to leave already employed. At these events, Sine summons companies to conduct interviews on-site, thus speeding up the hiring process,” he states.

Currently, Santa Catarina has about 8 thousand vacancies open statewide.

Free Access and Guidance to the Public

All fairs are free and open to the public. To participate, it is necessary to bring a photo ID.

Those with printed resumes may bring them to facilitate the screening process.

Workers from other regions can also visit one of the more than 140 Sine units in Santa Catarina.
