Santander Program Features Individual Ranking
This Santander project was developed in partnership with DIO, an education and recruitment startup. According to this company, the goal of the project is to democratize knowledge in software development and exponential technologies.
Furthermore, according to the financial institution, during the program, students taking the courses will have to face job market challenges. In addition, they will learn about the characteristics of the chosen areas in various ways.
Due to these challenges, there will be a ranking focused on measuring each student’s individual performance. The top performers will receive cash prizes, a laptop, and access to DIO’s hiring platform for the top three winners.
On the project’s portal, Marcio Giannico, who is the Executive Superintendent of Santander Universities in Brazil, claims that the program, created in 2021, has been helping thousands of people since its launch.
“In four years of operation, we have trained thousands of people to work in various areas of the IT market. Anyone can apply for a scholarship, just be over 18 years old and eager to learn new programming languages,” he says.
Finally, the Executive Superintendent of Santander states that this is yet another initiative by the bank aimed at “training professionals for new markets, preparing them to work in any segment of technology.”
