São Paulo Offers Over 1,300 Job Openings in Sectors Such as Commerce, Cleaning, Telemarketing, and Kitchen; Applications Open Until April 24th Through the Cate Portal
More than 1,300 job openings are available in the city of São Paulo. The City Hall, through the Cate (Center for Work and Entrepreneurship Support), announced opportunities in various sectors such as commerce, services, construction, and health. Salaries range from R$ 1,412 to R$ 3,900, depending on the position.
Due to the Tiradentes holiday, celebrated on April 21st, applications can only be made through the Cate Portal. In-person service will resume on Tuesday, April 22nd. Interested parties have until April 24th, at 6 PM, to register.
The job openings cover various regions of the city and include positions with different levels of education and experience requirements.

Job Openings for Different Profiles
Among the job openings, almost 400 are for those wishing to work in cleaning. Some of these opportunities do not require minimum education or prior experience. Salaries range from R$ 1,640 to R$ 2,056.93.
For telemarketing operators, Cate offers 65 permanent positions. All require complete high school education but do not ask for experience. Salaries range from R$ 1,412 to R$ 1,518.
In the kitchen sector, more than 40 openings are available. Most require at least complete elementary education and prior experience. Salaries range from R$ 1,641 to R$ 2,048.
To participate in the selection processes, candidates can choose to register online on the Cate Portal or visit one of the 44 units spread across the city. Those attending in person must present ID, CPF, and work card, either physical or digital.
Special Event at Cate Central
On April 24th, another edition of “Contrata SP – Peg Pese Hortfruti” will be held. At this event, interested parties will be able to compete for one of the 184 vacancies available for cashier, stock clerk, salesperson, and attendant. The selection process will take place from 9 AM to 4 PM at Cate Central.
To apply, candidates must be at least 18 years old. The company responsible for the vacancies does not require prior experience. The offered salaries are R$ 1,976 plus benefits. Applications for these positions can be made until the day before the event through the Cate Portal.
Service in All City Zones
The in-person service of Cate is distributed throughout the city. In the Central Zone, individuals can visit the units at Av. Rio Branco, 252, and Rua Quinze de Novembro, 268.
In the North Zone, the addresses include neighborhoods such as Freguesia, Jaçanã, Jaraguá, Perus, Pirituba, Santana, Casa Verde, Vila Maria, Jova Rural, and Parque Novo Mundo.
In the South Zone, citizens can find service in areas such as Campo Limpo, Cidade Ademar, Interlagos, Ipiranga, Jabaquara, M’Boi Mirim, Parelheiros, Santo Amaro, Vila Mariana, Capela do Socorro, and CIC Sul.
In the East Zone, there are units in Aricanduva, Cidade Tiradentes, Guaianases, Itaim Paulista, Itaquera (two units), Penha, São Mateus, São Miguel Paulista, Sapopemba, Vila Prudente, Ermelino Matarazzo, and Mooca.
Finally, the West Zone has units in Butantã, Pinheiros, Lapa, and Pinheirinho d’Água.

In addition to the announced opportunities, Cate also offers services to facilitate workers’ access to job openings. It is possible to schedule appointments at the units through the Descomplica SP portal.
Applications for any of the vacancies, including those for Contrata SP, must be made by April 24th. After this date, new selections may open, but there is no information about that yet.
Cate’s in-person activities will resume normally from April 22nd, after the national holiday.
