In the program developed by Schlumberger, startups will present solutions for challenges related to digital transformation, aiming to optimize business and improve work processes in collaboration with the company’s clients
On the last Tuesday (19th), registrations opened for the second edition of SLB Conecta, an open innovation program held by Schlumberger aimed at finding new partners in the innovation ecosystem. The initiative consists of a new call for startups and entrepreneurs interested in developing digital solutions aimed at the energy sector that address the challenges of the company’s clients.
The funding dedicated to the program will be up to R$ 2 million, the same amount invested during the first edition, with the resources used for the development of selected projects. This time, startups will need to present solutions for challenges related exclusively to digital transformation, seeking new ways to extract maximum value from artificial intelligence resources for business, as well as improving work processes in partnership with the company’s clients.
The projects developed during the program must contribute to business productivity and to solving challenges demanded not only by the company but also by its clients
From this perspective, three strategic pillars have been established: data management, production monitoring, and uptime assurance. The goal is to find solutions that promote a significant change in the productivity of businesses and in the shared challenges of the sector.

In this second edition, another differentiator is that the projects can address challenges demanded not only by Schlumberger but also by the company’s clients, who will be involved in the entire development process.
According to Giovanna Carneiro from Innovation Factori, during the first edition of the program, Schlumberger’s specific challenges were presented, which yielded good results for the business. Carneiro reports that a total of six startups were selected, and their projects are already in the development phase.
She stated that this time, the challenges will also be open to the company’s clients, who will be able to benefit from the solutions and work together in executing the proposals that are chosen. Giovanna is the coordinator of the work.
