The 2025 Nissan Sentra arrives in the Brazilian market reinforcing the proposal of efficiency, comfort, and a comprehensive technology package, targeting traditional competitors like Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic.
Officially, the sedan registers 11 km/l in the city and 13.9 km/l on the highway in the Inmetro cycle, figures that are compatible with the category.
In press measurements in road use, there are records close to or exceeding 17 km/l, which explains the highlighted economy appeal of the model.

Fuel Consumption: Official Data and In Practice
According to homologated data, the Sentra is a gasoline sedan with averages of 11/13.9 km/l (urban/highway), figures that serve as a basis for comparison between models.
In favorable highway conditions, however, vehicle evaluations reported averages between 15 and 18 km/l, demonstrating that, in practice, the car can exceed the official number on consistent stretches with moderate driving.
Although route variations, terrain, and weather influence the outcome, these reports help compose the real usage scenario.
Comfort and Internal Finish

Inside, the Sentra relies on acoustic insulation, good ergonomic solutions, and a low driving position, typical of sedans.
The suspension prioritizes comfort without compromising stability, favoring daily use and longer trips.
This combination was reiterated in field evaluations, which highlighted the quiet cabin and solid ride, attributes that bring the car closer to proposals from higher segments.
Technology Package and Safety
The 2025 line incorporated design improvements and expanded equipment, especially in the Advance version, which gained more safety and comfort items.
Among the features, the brand’s assistance package includes collision alert with autonomous braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, automatic high beams, and rear cross traffic alert.
These items reinforce active protection and assisted driving.
Engine and Performance of the Sentra
Under the hood, the Sentra retains the 2.0 gasoline engine with 151 hp and 20 kgfm, paired with a CVT that simulates eight gears.
The focus is on progression and efficiency, with revolutions kept low at cruising speed to reduce noise and consumption.
There is no flex option; the certified Brazilian configuration is exclusively gasoline.
In acceleration measurements, the numbers fell within expectations for a naturally aspirated medium sedan, with linear responses and good pickup for overtaking.
Internal Space and Trunk
In terms of dimensions, the Sentra measures 4.65 m in length and offers a trunk capacity of 466 liters and a 47-liter tank.
This combination provides a good range between fill-ups and sufficient capacity for a family’s luggage.
The cabin comfortably accommodates four adults, and the dashboard design favors instrument readability and access to multimedia and climate controls.
Comparison with Corolla and Civic
In comparison with rivals, the Sentra stands out for its ride comfort, extensive assistance package, and efficiency that aligns with the category.
The Corolla remains strong due to its reputation and offers hybrid versions with superior consumption.
The Civic, now with a more restricted positioning and higher price in Brazil, bets on technology and refined driving.
In the combustion version segment, the Nissan competes in equipment and delivery, aiming to win over those who prioritize active safety and finish without giving up on economy.
What Changed in the 2025 Line
The light redesign at the front and content adjustments mark the 2025 Sentra.
In addition to the visual changes, the expansion of standard items in the intermediate versions improves the cost-benefit ratio.
The model positions itself more competitively in the medium sedan segment.
The goal is clear: to strengthen its presence in a niche that, despite the advance of SUVs, still has a loyal audience that values comfort, trunk space, and efficiency on the road.
Ideal Consumer Profile
Drivers who frequently drive on highways and value internal silence, driving assistance, and predictable maintenance tend to find a balanced proposal in the Sentra.
In intense urban routes, the calibration of the CVT favors smoothness and helps contain consumption, as long as the driving is progressive.
On trips, the suspension tuning and the ergonomics of the seats help reduce fatigue, reinforcing the car’s vocation as a family sedan and daily use vehicle with a comfort touch.
