Seduc RO Has Launched a New Selection Process Open for Hundreds of New Job Vacancies Focused on High School Candidates. Positions for Food Agents and Cleaning and Conservation Agents Are Being Offered.
The Government of Rondônia, through the State Superintendence of People Management – Segep, published this week Public Notice No. 47/2023 for a Simplified Selection Process for the temporary hiring of Level I Educational Technicians (Food Agent) and Level II Educational Technicians (Cleaning and Conservation Agent), who will meet the demands of the State Department of Education (Seduc RO), working in schools of the state education system.

The Food Agent is the professional responsible for the pre-preparation, distribution, and preparation of food in educational units and school food production establishments, guided by Nutritionists. They are also responsible for receiving, storing, conserving equipment, operating kitchen utensils, and executing a pre-established menu.
They promote good eating habits while adhering to food safety standards, health, hygiene control, and environmental protection.

Applications for the selection process for high school job vacancies are completely free and must be made online through the Seduc RO website between February 23 and March 5.
The candidate must, at the time of application, mark only one option for a vacancy or location in the specific field of the application form. Only the last completed application will be considered valid. Selected candidates within the number of high school job vacancies offered will be hired temporarily for a period of one year, which may be extended once for an equal period from the date of signing the contract.
The hired individuals will carry out their professional activities exclusively with the state schools of RO, with their workplace defined by the Lotting Management, with the knowledge of the Regional Education Coordinators (CRE), after the signing of the work contract.
Salaries Offered for Each Opportunity
For the positions of Level II Educational Technician/Food Agent and Level II Educational Technician/Cleaning and Conservation Agent, a salary of R$ 1,692.20 will be offered, plus Bonuses and Transportation Aid, where public transport is available.
Professionals with a high school diploma will work 40 hours a week. The approval of applications for the Simplified Selection Process is expected to be on March 28, and the results are expected to be published on April 12, 2023, in the Official Gazette of the State of Rondônia and in the publications section of the Seduc website.
Seduc RO states that the selection process has clear criteria that are extensively disclosed, as well as providing greater transparency for filling vacancies, favoring the selection of more qualified professionals through the application of scoring criteria, resumes, interviews, and dynamics.
