Ticket Log Affirms That The Price Of Gasoline In The Brazilian Southeast Region Already Exceeds Five Reais
According to Ticket Log, which is a fleet management and mobility solutions brand from Edenred Brazil, a survey points out that the average price of gasoline in the Southeast closed the first half of February at an estimated R$ 5.047. This is an increase of over 4% in the price of gasoline compared to January. This exceeds the national average gas price of R$ 5.033.

The gasoline price study is based on gasoline refueling conducted at the 18,000 accredited Ticket Log stations. Rio de Janeiro has the highest price in the Southeast region: R$ 5.336. Minas Gerais closed the price in the first half at R$ 5.148, well above the R$ 5.056 recorded in Espírito Santo.
Even with an increase of over 4% in gasoline prices compared to January, São Paulo was the only state in the Southeast to register an average price below R$ 5.00, with gasoline sold at stations for R$ 4.647.

Southeast States Still Favor The Use Of Ethanol According To Ticket Log
The state of São Paulo was also where ethanol had the lowest price according to the Ticket Log survey, at R$ 3.167. Following it is the state of Minas Gerais, at R$ 3.465, which were the only states in the Southeast where it is still more advantageous to use ethanol.
In São Paulo, the trend of low prices is repeating with other fuels as well, such as diesel and S-10 diesel, which were sold between R$ 3.794 and R$ 3.859, respectively, and CNG for R$ 3.019.
