Selection Process of the Cecierj Foundation Offers Scholarships for Presential and Distance Tutors in the Social Pre-University Course 2026, with Online Registrations, Written Exam in January and Virtual Didactic Evaluation in February, Including Specific Opportunities in English and Spanish.

The Cecierj Foundation has opened registrations for the selection process of tutors for the Social Pre-University Course (PVS) 2026, with presential and distance opportunities in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

The announcement provides for monthly scholarships that vary according to the role and workload, which can reach R$ 1,540.00 in specific situations, in addition to a virtual didactic exam with only 10 minutes of class as a decisive stage of the selection.

The process includes immediate vacancies and the formation of a reserve list, aimed at professionals with a degree and undergraduate students interested in providing pedagogical support to public school students.

Registrations remain open until January 5 and must be exclusively done online, with a fee of R$ 40.00.

Cecierj Foundation Opens Selection for PVS 2026 Tutors

The PVS 2026 announcement provides for the granting of tutoring scholarships in presential and distance modalities, within the pedagogical model adopted by the Social Pre-University Course.

The initiative aims to prepare students for entry into higher education, focusing on low-income candidates in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

In the presential modality, the tutor must fulfill a workload of eight hours per week, preferably on Saturdays.

Activities include teaching classes and providing academic guidance in the centers defined by the Foundation.

In the distance tutoring modality, the weekly workload is 20 hours, with activities conducted in the program’s virtual learning environment.

Distribution of Vacancies by Subject and Modality

In total, the announcement provides for 150 immediate vacancies, in addition to a reserve list, with most opportunities concentrated in presential tutoring.

The vacancies are distributed among different subjects in the curriculum of the Social Pre-University Course.

The covered areas include Biology, Physics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Portuguese Language and Literature, Writing, English and Spanish.

In the specific case of languages, some vacancies are linked to the distance modality, which makes the selection more restricted.

For distance tutoring, the announcement reserves only two immediate vacancies, one for English and one for Spanish.

The limitation on the number of scholarships is one of the factors that explains the classification of these opportunities as rare within the selection process.

Didactic Exam with 10-Minute Class is a Decisive Stage

Regardless of the subject or modality chosen, candidates need to go through two mandatory stages provided in the official schedule.

The first consists of an objective exam in General Portuguese Language and a specific content exam, with an eliminatory and classificatory character, scheduled for January 18.

Those approved will proceed to the second phase, which includes the virtual didactic exam.

In this stage, the candidate must teach a 10-minute class on a topic previously defined in the announcement.

The evaluation considers pedagogical criteria and command of the content.

The didactic exam will be held between February 3 and 25, in an online environment, according to the schedule released by the Cecierj Foundation.

Values of Scholarships and Payment Conditions

The scholarship values vary according to the modality and workload exercised by the selected tutor.

For presential tutors, the amounts can reach R$ 1,155.00 per month, depending on the number of hours engaged in the center.

The maximum value of R$ 1,540.00 is provided in the announcement for acting as a Libras interpreter.

This remuneration is conditioned to the existence of a student with hearing disabilities regularly enrolled in the course.

In the distance tutoring, including English and Spanish, the indicated monthly scholarship is R$ 770.00 for 20 hours per week of virtual activities.

The announcement clarifies that the scholarship has academic nature, without generating an employment bond.

Payments are made through a checking account at Banco Bradesco.

Who Can Register and Expected Restrictions

Candidates who have a degree from a higher education course recognized by MEC or who are regularly enrolled in a graduate course, in public or private institutions, can participate in the selection process.

A basic command of internet navigation and an active email address for tracking official communications are also required.

The announcement establishes prohibitions for candidates who have been dismissed from the project in 2025 for unsatisfactory performance.

Those who already have renewal indication for the scholarship for 2026, according to internal rules of the program, are also not eligible to apply.

How to Register for the Cecierj Selection Process

Registrations must be made exclusively online, on the official website of the Cecierj Foundation, until January 5.

To validate participation, the candidate must pay the registration fee of R$ 40.00, with a due date of January 6.

After registration, it is essential to follow the official publications regarding exam locations, times, and instructions for the virtual didactic stage, as all convocations are communicated through institutional channels.
