Hiring EAD Tutors for Specialization at IFPR
IFPR recently launched Public Notice 68/2024, which regulates the selection of 17 tutors for graduate courses Lato Sensu in the distance mode.
According to the Federal Institute of Paraná, these tutors will play a crucial role in one of the most prestigious educational programs in the country, the Open University of Brazil (UAB).
The specialization course in Professional and Technological Education is the focus of this initiative, and the tutors will have an essential mission: to ensure the success of students in their academic journeys.
What Does an EAD Tutor Do?
The role of the EAD tutor goes far beyond just monitoring student progress. According to the public notice, the tutor will be responsible for several essential tasks, including preparing and delivering monthly reports on the activities of the Course Pedagogical Project (PPC), participating in improvement courses on the use of the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), and providing pedagogical support to both educators and students.
Additionally, the tutor will organize resources for in-person meetings, control student attendance, apply assessments, and provide feedback on the instructional material.
Who Can Apply?
If you are interested in participating in this selection process, it is important to check if you meet the requirements set by IFPR. Candidates must hold a degree in any area or a bachelor’s degree with pedagogical training equivalent to a degree.
Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience as a teacher in basic education or higher education is required. Another crucial point is the availability to fulfill a workload of up to 20 hours per week, with activities conducted both remotely and in-person, as needed.
Remuneration and Benefits
The remuneration offered for tutors is R$ 1,100.00 per month, which will be paid through a scholarship. According to IFPR, this is an excellent opportunity not only to gain professional experience but also to specialize in a highly relevant area of current education.
With the increasing interest in distance education, this scholarship becomes even more attractive, especially for those looking to consolidate their careers in the educational field.
