Federal University of Rondonópolis Offers a Unique Opportunity for Those Who Want to Work as EAD Tutors, with a Monthly Scholarship and Professional Development, but There Are Requirements and Essential Details You Need to Know to Enroll Successfully.

The Federal University of Rondonópolis (UFR) has extended the deadline for enrollment in the EAD Tutors selection process until April 23, 2025.

This opportunity offers a monthly scholarship of R$ 1,100.00, in addition to allowing work in specialization courses with the possibility of working remotely or at physical hubs distributed across various cities in the state of Mato Grosso.

The selection process is aimed at professionals with higher education recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) interested in working in the areas of English Language Teaching and Science Teaching.

Scholarship of R$ 1,100.00 and Other Benefits

Selected candidates will be entitled to a scholarship worth R$ 1,100.00 per month, with a minimum workload of 20 hours per week, which can be distributed over several days of the week, including weekends.

The scholarship is provided by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and tutors will not have an employment contract, serving as a way to promote the training of educators and improve the quality of distance education.

EAD tutors will work in the various cities where the physical hubs are located. In addition to the scholarship, selected candidates will have access to specific training to work in the Distance Education environment, aimed at enhancing their pedagogical and digital skills.

To this end, UFR provides constant support, preparing its tutors for the use of cutting-edge educational technologies.

Who Can Apply?

The selection process is open to professionals who meet the following requirements:

  • Higher education diploma recognized by MEC.
  • Basic digital literacy, with knowledge in using the Moodle virtual learning environment and other educational technologies.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of working on weekends.
  • Residency in the municipality of the hub for which the vacancy is being contested.
  • Complete documentation, including proof of residence, diploma, updated Curriculum Lattes, and other forms required in the public notice.
  • Must not be a student in the course being tutored, as well as being in good standing with electoral obligations.
  • For foreigners, it is necessary to present a permanent RNE.

The selection process is an excellent opportunity for those interested in the educational field and who have an affinity for using digital technologies. If you have a higher education diploma and seek a rewarding experience in distance education, this could be the ideal chance for you.

Available Vacancies at Physical Hubs

The available vacancies for EAD tutors are distributed across different cities in Mato Grosso, and the hubs are intended for the Specialization courses in English Language Teaching and Science Teaching.

Check the locations with open vacancies for the mentioned courses:

  • Critical Practices in English Language Teaching: Jauru, Pedra Preta, Primavera do Leste, Sapezal.
  • Science Teaching – “Science is 10!”: Aripuanã, Lucas do Rio Verde, Nova Xavantina, Primavera do Leste, Sapezal.

These hubs represent a great benefit for participating cities, as they provide an opportunity for training for educators in a field that is constantly evolving, such as digital education.

The extension of the enrollment period for the selection process offers an excellent opportunity for those who were unable to register earlier.

Selection Stages: How Will the Process Be?

The selection of EAD tutors will occur in two main stages:

  1. Document Analysis: In this phase, the applications will be evaluated, and incomplete or inconsistent documents will be eliminated.
  2. Virtual Interview: Candidates classified in the document analysis will undergo an online interview, where they will be evaluated on their pedagogical mediation capacity and the use of technologies in distance education. This stage is classificatory and aims to select candidates who best fit the role of EAD tutor.

Additionally, the public notice details all the documents necessary for enrollment, which must be submitted correctly to ensure participation in the selection process.

The Importance of Distance Education and Professional Qualification

With the advancement of technologies and the growing demand for distance courses, EAD tutoring has become an essential function to ensure that students receive the necessary support for quality learning.

UFR offers tutors the opportunity to specialize and grow professionally while contributing to the qualification of educators and the improvement of higher education.

This selection process is part of a continuous strategy of UFR to expand and improve its distance postgraduate course offerings. The work of tutors is fundamental, as they are responsible for ensuring that students have a satisfactory educational experience, even at a distance, using digital platforms for interaction and monitoring their academic activities.

How to Apply?

To ensure your participation in the selection process, simply access the UFR website, fill out the required forms, and submit the necessary documentation.

The deadline for registrations has been extended until April 23, 2025, giving candidates more time to prepare and ensure that all stages of the process are correctly fulfilled.
