What Changed in the NX 500 Compared to the CB 500X?
Let’s get straight to the point: the new Honda NX 500 comes with several improvements, but the mechanical base is practically the same as the CB 500X. In other words, the engine and chassis remain unchanged, but the front of the bike has undergone a true transformation. We now have a new front with a redesigned headlight, fairing protection, and auxiliary lights.

Performance and Technology
The new Honda NX 500 is equipped with alloy wheels, dual discs at the front, Showa suspension, and a new digital display. Additionally, the bike features full LED lighting, traction control, and two-channel ABS. Honda maintained the 471 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, which delivers 50.2 horsepower in Brazil—slightly more powerful than in Europe, where it produces 47 horsepower.
Style and Comfort
In terms of design, the NX 500 brings a more modern and aggressive look, but without losing the essence of the CB 500X. The seat is a single piece, providing comfort for both the rider and the passenger. Another positive point is the reduced weight: the new bike is 3 kg lighter, totaling 196 kg.

Now, the question that remains: will the new Honda NX 500 arrive in Brazil in 2024? We know that Honda has a series of planned launches, but a lot is still left to be revealed. The forecast is that the NX 500 and the Hornet 500, another awaited novelty, will only arrive here in 2025.
