The Port of Suape represents a strategically positioned point to serve customers throughout the Northeast region (NE)
The Suape Industrial Port Complex began the implementation of a new factory for SIW Kits Eólicos, a company responsible for the production of material for the manufacture of wind blades used in the generation of renewable energy. The company invested R$ 10 million in the project, which will be located in an area of 7,66 hectares in the Complex's Industrial Zone.
With the start of activities scheduled for January 2020, SIW should generate around 70 direct and indirect jobs. In the future, the factory intends to expand production to other customers in the NE.
“The arrival of SIW Kits Eólicos consolidates the renewable energy center in Suape, expanding the chain of wind equipment and attracting more local suppliers. We are very happy to contribute to the growth of this energy in the State”, says the Director of Business Development for the Complex, Luiz Alberto Barros.
AA SIW Kits Eólicos will integrate the wind complex of smooth, joining also with the manufacturer belonging to the GE group, LM Wind Power.
Northeast Wind Potential
The wind sector has everything in the NE! Executives and entrepreneurs in the sector are noticing the potential in relation to areas with great availability of winds, in the states of Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará and Pernambuco.
