Over the Bacalhau field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt
Discovered in 2012, the Bacalhau oil field is located in the pre-salt area of the Santos Basin, at a depth of approximately 2.050 m (6.725 ft).
Bacalhau is operated by Equinor with a 40% stake, in partnership with ExxonMobil (40%) and Galp (20%). Phase 1 of development forecasts production of 220 barrels/day, with the first oil scheduled for 2024.
