Check Out The Details Of The New Mini SUV From Toyota
The Toyota Taisor shares a platform with the Suzuki Fronx and is an interesting model with a well-regarded stance in today’s automotive market.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser looks very much like the Kardian and Pulse, and in dimensions, it is also quite close to these models. It measures 4 m in length, 2.52 m in wheelbase, 1.76 m in width, and 1.55 m in height, with a trunk capacity of up to 300 L, and the Toyota mini SUV weighs just 1660 kg.
Visually, the Toyota Taisor promises to appeal to the automotive market, being quite attractive. In the front, there’s a honeycomb grille in Black Piano, a gray insert at the base of the bumper, and full LED headlights, divided with daytime running lights above and main lights below. On the sides, the Toyota Urban Cruiser features a two-tone paint scheme, chrome trim on the windows, a satin silver roof rack, in addition to 16-inch wheels.
Moving to the rear, it has a coupe-like stance and features a spoiler, a gray insert on the bumper, and beautiful interconnected full LED taillights with a large, attractive LED strip.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Delivers Up To 100 Horsepower
In terms of engine options, both configurations offered by the Toyota Taisor are interesting for the automotive market. The entry-level configurations do not come with a 1.0 naturally aspirated engine but rather the 1.2 three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that runs solely on gasoline and delivers up to 90 horsepower and 13.5 kgm of torque. In this case, the transmission can be a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic with up to seven simulated gears.
The other option, and the most interesting one, is the 1.0 three-cylinder Turbo that features direct fuel injection and always runs on gasoline. It produces up to 100 horsepower and 177.2 kgfm of torque associated with a transmission that can either be a six-speed automatic with a torque converter or a six-speed manual. In this case, the performance of the Toyota Urban Cruiser is much more robust, and the fuel consumption averages are good.
The Interior Of The Toyota Mini SUV Is Full Of Cutting-Edge Technologies
Moving to the interior, the Toyota Mini SUV follows the trends seen in the automotive market and is not surprising in any way. The finishing is all hard plastic throughout and deserves better detailing, and the internal space is cramped, accommodating only four adults comfortably.
The equipment list for an entry segment includes interesting items for the automotive market such as keyless entry, head-up display, remote start, digital climate control, a 4-inch LCD panel instead of a digital one as seen in most competitors, among others.
The multimedia center of the Toyota Taisor comes with a beautiful 8-inch screen and features a 360° camera system, integrated GPS, as well as connectivity for wireless Carplay and Android Auto.
