MRS Logística opens Young Apprentice vacancies in electromechanics with training at SENAI BH. Applications until 05/21/2026.
MRS Logística, one of Brazil’s largest railway operators, has open applications for the 2026.2 Apprenticeship Program, in the electromechanics class. The vacancies are aimed at young people between 18 and 23 years old, residing in Belo Horizonte (MG), and applications can be submitted until May 21, 2026. The training will be conducted in partnership with SENAI BH – Horto and includes theoretical and practical stages within the company itself.
The program represents a gateway for young people who wish to start a career in the railway sector, with technical qualification, remuneration from day one, and the possibility of permanent employment at the end of the course.
How the MRS program works
The Apprenticeship Program has an approximate total duration of 6 months and is divided into two complementary phases:

Study at Fiocruz: 30,000 open spots in a free, 100% online course on mental health in the workplace, with 20 hours, 4 complete modules, over 15,000 enrolled, and a guaranteed free certificate upon completion.

Study Animal Husbandry via Distance Learning and 100% free: Senar opens 905 spots in 12 states with a 1,200-hour technical course recognized by MEC, lasting 2 years, and featuring hybrid classes with a mandatory in-person component.

Theoretical stage — from July 20 to December 1, 2026, held at SENAI Belo Horizonte – Horto. During this period, apprentices complete 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Practical stage — from December 2, 2026, to January 14, 2027, at MRS – Horto facilities. In this phase, the workday is reduced to 6 hours daily, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, also Monday to Friday.
All activities are supervised by experienced professionals, ensuring a safe learning environment from the start.
What the Young Apprentice will do day-to-day
During the program, the apprentice will be involved in real railway maintenance activities, always under technical supervision. The foreseen functions include:
- Monitor and inspect locomotives when requested
- Assist in mechanical and electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Support in the manufacturing and repair of mechanical and electrical parts
- Perform visual inspections and dimensional control of components
- Fill out maintenance reports and monitor area indicators
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions
- Participate in meetings, training, and internal lectures
- Monitor the operation of maintenance machinery and equipment
- Comply with safety standards and identify risk conditions in the workplace

Selection process stages for the MRS Young Apprentice
The selection consists of five stages, all eliminatory and evaluative. Candidates must pay attention to each phase:
- Pre-registration
- Registration and tests on the Online Track
- Online interview
- Psychological assessment and aptitude test
- Enrollment
