TechnipFMC, A Oilfield Services Provider, Signed a Surface Technologies Framework Agreement with Chevron.
This five-year agreement covers the exclusive supply of wellhead equipment and services in the United States and Canada, TechnipFMC reported on Wednesday. Richard Alabaster, President of TechnipFMC’s Surface Technologies business, commented: “We are very pleased to extend our partnership with Chevron and support their development program in North America.”
He added: “We believe this reflects the strong collaboration we have developed with this shale operator, based on the demonstrated value of our integrated drilling and completion offering”.
Chevron is finding and producing crude oil and natural gas beneath the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the tight rocks of Pennsylvania, Texas, and Alberta, and the fields of Central California. Much of Chevron’s deep-water production in the Gulf of Mexico comes from Jack / St. Malo, Tahiti, Blind Faith, and Caesar / Tonga fields, and the Perdido Regional Development.
