Understand the impact of water use on battery autonomy
The great engineering differential of this product lies in the flexibility of energy management, which directly alters the device’s performance per charge:
- Supply with already hot water: In the so-called Pure Extraction Mode, the battery only powers the pressure pump. Thus, efficiency is maximum, and the machine delivers up to 400 cups of espresso.
- Supply with cold water: In Internal Heating Mode, the ceramic heater needs to be activated to raise the liquid’s temperature. Due to the high energy consumption of this process, autonomy drops to just over 3 cups.
When the energy runs out, recharging is done via a USB-C port with support for 45W fast charging, allowing it to go from 20% to 80% charge in 30 minutes and reach 100% in 80 minutes.

The system even accepts direct power supply from conventional high-power power banks on the go.
High pressure of 20 bar and precise thermal control
Despite being portable, the device does not use manual or low-pressure systems. Xiaomi has included an electromagnetic pump capable of reaching 20 bar, pressure equivalent to traditional countertop home appliances, ensuring the correct extraction of essential oils and crema formation.
Additionally, heat control is managed by an intelligent algorithm that continuously monitors thermal variations.
This system stabilizes the water at exactly 92°C, preventing the burning of the powder and preserving the flavor in extractions that last about 45 seconds, for both hot and cold beverages.
The versatility also stands out in the infusion chamber, which has dual compatibility: it accepts both standard market capsules and freshly ground coffee. To facilitate maintenance, the entire extraction chamber is fully detachable and washable under running water.
Compact dimensions and accessories included in the kit
The cylindrical shape of the device resembles a common thermos bottle, measuring 24.5 centimeters in height by 7.15 centimeters in width.
This compact structure is designed to fit in automotive cup holders or travel backpacks, also featuring IP55 certification, which ensures resistance against dust and light splashes or rain.
The consumer receives a complete kit that eliminates additional expenses for basic use, consisting of:
- Hard case for impact protection during transport.
- Positioning support made of aluminum alloy.
- Textured metal basket for ground coffee and measuring spoon.
- Stainless steel serving cup with double-wall thermal insulation.

News in Xiaomi’s Smart Home Ecosystem
The expansion of the Mijia line was not limited to the portable beverage market. Recently, the Chinese company also updated its home automation and wellness portfolio with two other products.
The first is the Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro, focused on high performance with 230AW power and self-cleaning features.
The second is the Smart Fragrance Diffuser Plant Extract Series, a smart aroma diffuser completely safe for children and pets, combining automated scenting with a decorative lighting system for modern homes.
