The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Federal Institute of Goiรกs (IFG), is part of the Solano Trindade School of Artistic, Technical and Cultural Training and Qualification (Escult) program.
Aimed at both beginners and professionals in the field, the course is entirely online, with a workload of 60 hours, covering the history of photography, photometry techniques, use of lenses, composition and post-production of images.
What is Escult?
The Solano Trindade School (Escult), created in 2024, is part of the Ministry of Culture's Professional Training and Qualification Program.
Developed by the Secretariat of Creative Economy and Cultural Promotion (SEFIC), Escult operates in accordance with the National Culture Plan, offering free courses, initial and continuing education (FIC) and postgraduate courses.
The school is named after the renowned poet and activist Solano Trindade, a symbol of Brazilian culture and the fight for the democratization of access to art and education.
Through Escult, MinC reaffirms its commitment to inclusion and the training of professionals prepared to meet the demands of the cultural market.
According to the Ministry, the initiative seeks to expand technical and creative inclusion in the cultural sector, especially in areas such as audiovisual and photography, promoting the qualification of professionals and cultural workers.

The course covers the following topics:

Why photography matters in the digital world
In the age of social media and digital marketing, photography is not just an art form, but also a strategic skill.
Capturing compelling images can determine the success of advertising campaigns, online profiles and even the documentation of cultural and social movements.
According to Professor Murilo Gabriel Berardo Bueno, course coordinator, โtechnical qualification in photography is essential to meet the creative and marketing demands of the audiovisual sectorโ.
This course offers a solid foundation for those who want to stand out in this universe, learning to translate stories and feelings through images.
Paulo Gustavo Law and cultural inclusion
According to the Ministry of Culture, this initiative also aims to meet the guidelines of the Paulo Gustavo Law, which encourages inclusion and democratization of access to culture.
The photography course reflects this commitment by offering opportunities for cultural workers seeking technical training in a constantly evolving market.
The Paulo Gustavo Law was created to boost cultural and artistic projects, promoting initiatives that guarantee inclusion and diversity in different artistic languages.
Photography courses like this one are practical examples of this impact, by training individuals from all regions of the country.

The training offered by MinC prepares participants to face challenges and explore new possibilities in the cultural sector. Among the benefits of participating are:
- Access to exclusive content: classes developed by renowned experts;
