It’s a complex situation, but not a surprise, after all, the platforms usually have workers from several states, and even from other countries.

Reports sent to Click Petroleum and Gas on Thursday (19) show the face of fear and concern of some employees who were completely isolated in their cabins aboard the P-25, a Petrobras unit operating in the Campos Basin, in the Albacora field. Listen to the audio below:

In the photos below, it is possible to understand the drama of outsourced workers and despite the situation, Petrobras has not stopped production on the platform. The information received indicates that 4 workers from Elfe Engenharia, 2 from Halliburton and 3 more from another unidentified company were in confinement.

The Oil Workers’ Union Signals That They May Strike Again And Halt Petrobras Activities
To prevent offshore workers and even those onshore from getting infected, the FUP (Single Federation of Oil Workers) threatens Petrobras if the necessary and proactive precautions regarding the virus are not handled appropriately, including the right to refuse work if any worker does not wish to perform it.
