Functions of the Casting Technician
At Hapvida, the Casting Technician will be responsible for attending to patients referred by the doctor, performing immobilizations according to medical prescriptions.
Among the job responsibilities are: sanitization and carrying out patient immobilizations, removing or changing immobilized casts, advising patients on the use and maintenance of immobilizations, and ensuring the cleanliness of the treatment room.
The professional will also need to keep the work equipment and utensils in good condition and perform other related tasks in accordance with the supervisor’s guidance.
