Federal Institute of Bahia Opens Applications for Selection Process with 13 Job Vacancies for Teachers in Various Areas.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia (IFBA) announced a new selection process. This selection process aims to fill 13 job vacancies for the position of substitute teacher. The opportunities are for work at the Brumado Campus, located in the state of Bahia. Announcement No. 09/2024 was published in the Official Gazette of the Union on October 1st and contains details about the selection process and the conditions for participation.

Selection Process Details of the Federal Institute

Applications for the selection process of the Federal Institute will begin on October 8th and can be made until the 20th of the same month.

Applications will be made exclusively online, on the official IFBA website, and there will be no application fee.

Compensation and Work Hours

The compensation for the selected teachers in the selection process ranges from R$ 2,437.59 to R$ 3,412.63, depending on the work hours.

For a 20-hour weekly workload, teachers will receive a food assistance of R$ 500.00, while those with a 40-hour workload will receive R$ 1,000.00, in addition to other benefits related to the teaching position at the Federal Institute.

This payment structure reflects the Federal Institute’s commitment to valuing the educators who join the teaching staff.

The didactic exam is scheduled to take place between October 30th and November 1st, 2024, at the Brumado Campus, located at Rua Francisco Manoel da Cruz, nº 55, São José, Brumado-BA.

Candidates approved in the selection process will be valid for invitation for two years, which can be extended for another two years, depending on the interest of the IFBA administration.
